The Breathing Room is an eight-module, online self-management program which assists people between the ages of 13 and 24 manage stress, depression and anxiety. Developed by the Canadian Institute for Natural and Integrative Medicine (CINIM), the Breathing Room is a clinically proven, award-winning program endorsed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Newfoundland and Labrador is one of the first early adopters of this program, which is now available through the youth and adult Bridge the gAPP websites and apps.

The booking system will open at 3:15pm on Wednesday, November 16th.
Interviews will take place between 1:30pm and 7pm on Tuesday, November 22nd.

Youth Inclusion Leader Program
This course focuses on developing a leader’s advocacy for inclusion in recreation and leisure settings. Topics to be explored are: empathy, mentorship, multiculturalism, ability, gender identity and mental health.
Date: Wednesdays, February 1 to April 5, 2017 (10 sessions)
Time: 3:30 to 5:30pm
Ages: 15 to 18 years
Location: Waterford Valley High School
Note: Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
